Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYXAs the Manager, Accounts Payable you will be responsible for overseeing the Accounts Payable function, collaborating and managing the relationships with both internal and shared services teams. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end lifecycle of our external vendors including everything from onboarding all the way through to on time payment. You will act as the key point person for all internal and external stakeholders, helping us establish scalable process for our account payable function. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.Meet Your Future Team:The Accounts Payable team functions within Finance with a responsibility to support our payables, vendor management and corporate credit card programs. You will collaborate with various cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless operations. You have a passion for continuous improvement.If you were the Manager, Accounts Payable, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:Lead and manage the in-house Accounts Payable team as well as the overseas shared services teamProvide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members to ensure high performance and continuous improvementOversee the timely processing of vendor invoices and expense reports, ensuring compliance with SOX controls and signing authority policiesFollow up on missing receipts and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner to maintain accurate financial recordsEnsure timely close of books to adhere to strict deadlines, collaborating with cross-functional teams as necessaryReview month-end accruals to ensure completeness and accuracy in financial reportingReview month-end reconciliations to verify the accuracy and completeness of accounts payable transactionsImplement best practices and standard operating procedures to streamline workflows and reduce errorsDeveloping, implementing, and communicating processes, procedures, and improvements to ensure efficient and effective accounts payable operationsEstablish KPIs to help support our accounts payable function to grow and scale at the same pace as our businessProvide insights and recommendations to management based on data analysis to support decision-making processesAre you our next Manager, Accounts Payable? You have a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.You have 5+ years of experience in accounts payable management or relevant finance rolesYou have prior experience managing teams and overseeing Accounts Payable processes in a large corporate environmentYou have proficiency in ERP systems and accounting software (SAP preferred).You have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.You have exceptional written and verbal communication skillsYou have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with all levels of stakeholdersYou are a leader with a proven track record of working with and engaging stakeholders at the local and regional levels in a matrixYou have excellent organization and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities and deadlinesYou are an excellent collaborator, and you work effectively in a teamYou have a solid understanding of communications, change management and trainingYou seek the best (but sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right$104,000 - $130,000 a yearA reasonable estimate of the pay range is $104,000 - $130,000 CAD at the time of this posting.
