Our client is one of the Automotive manufacturers, they are a pioneer when it comes to innovation and design and they have partnered with Randstad Engineering to support them in the search for their next Buyer/Planner. Please find the job description below. Title – Purchaser Inventory Planner - Automotive Location – KWC, ON Industry – Automotive Report to the Materials Manager Salary – Strong Base + benefits. Type - 100% ON-SITE role. Key Skills needed - You should be a person who has a minimum of 4-5 years of hands-on manufacturing purchasing and planning experience in Automotive. RRSP Benefit 3 weeks vacation. Mon-Friday 8-5 pm with 1 hour lunch. Responsibilities The procurement of all raw materials and components from assigned suppliers on behalf of the company. Provide direction and development to suppliers, and release of materials required to support ongoing production. Ensure that accurate and timely information is provided to both vendors and the Senior Management Team. Assure that all purchase orders received are immediately reviewed. Release raw materials to/from vendors to support ongoing production. Conduct audits/cycle count(s) of all raw materials and purchased parts to ensure the accuracy and integrity/ Meet and maintain minimum inventory levels as set by management.
