Accounting Analyst

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Accounting Analyst is responsible for administering daily accounting activities within the Finance team. He/She will perform a range of general bookkeeping and accounting support functions, while providing high quality services in an efficient manner. The ideal candidate has excellent organisation and communication skills, is self-motivated, and can work in a high-volume and fast-evolving environment. Advantages - 100% telecommuting - Group insurance (dental, medical + flex dollar) - RRSP contribution program Responsibilities Operations Support - 60% ●Reconcile multi-currency payment processors ●Process accounting journal entries ●Collaborate closely with the other departments within the finance team to liaise and share information ●Carry out other accounting related tasks as needed Reporting - 30% ●Prepare monthly banking reconciliations ●Provide analyses of movements within various accounts ●Provide support with the month-end closing process ●Assist with audits by providing required supporting documentation ●Manage and maintain efficient and accurate filing Continuous Improvement - 10% ●Act as resource for more junior staff by providing guidance and support, answering questions, and bringing forth potential solutions ●Assist the Finance team in the development and optimization of systems ●Participate in creating, drafting and maintaining policies and procedures Qualifications ● D.E.C. ou licence en comptabilité ● 2 à 3 ans d'expérience dans un rôle similaire. ● Maîtrise avancée des logiciels Microsoft Excel et Word. ● Familiarité avec les logiciels de comptabilité (par exemple, SAP), un atout. ● Bonnes compétences en matière de communication écrite et orale en anglais et en français.
