ESL Teacher

Have you recently completed TESOL or CELTA training and are looking to put your new skills and training into practice while receiving developmental feedback from experienced, nurturing ESL professionals? EF’s dynamic Victoria is looking for an energetic, outgoing teacher to initially fill a short-term contract, with the potential of it rolling into a longer-term one. Newly qualified teachers are welcome to apply.Duties and responsibilities:Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:Teach scheduled contact hours as scheduled by Academic ManagementProvide high quality classes using our EF blended learning programComplete the necessary administrative work required for classes in a timely mannerPrepare materials and resources relevant to your classes, including handouts, quizzes, tests, and assignments as needed for each courseHelp students with queries they may have and communicate this with the appropriate departmentActively participate in teacher meetings and all staff development activitiesMinimum requirements:Bachelor DegreeCELTA/DELTA/TESL Canada Level One CertificationFluent in English (both written and spoken)Must be legally able to work in CanadaMinimum 1 year experience teaching adults in a multicultural setting but can be flexiblePassion for teachingAbility to teach all levels of EnglishExcellent interpersonal and conflict-resolution skillsExceptional organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
