Our Environment : Protenergy Natural Foods maintains a 24 hour 7 days per week continental shift rotational environment. Shifts are 12 hours, from 7am to 7:30pm (days) or 7:00pm to 7:30am (nights). We maintain a 2-3 rotation, where in fourteen calendar days you will work a total of seven where every other weekend is a long weekend

Position Summary : Protenergy Natural Foods Corp, a fully integrated manufacturer of natural food and beverage products has an immediate opening for a Distribution Equipment (DE) Operator at its Richmond Hill facility.

Shift :Night

Key Responsibilities :

• Complies with good manufacturing practices
• Maintains accurate records
• Supports quality system
• Maintains communication within production team member ensuring smooth shift transitions, etc.
• Support technical in maintenance activities
• Perform weekly maintenance activities
• Monitors raw materials, supplies to ensure efficient production
• Determine acceptable quality ranges on packaging
• Coordinate communication between palletizing and Filler operations
• Safe and efficient operation of all downstream equipment
• Knowledge and execution of any downstream job tasks as the business requires

Requirements :

• Post secondary or equivalent experience required
• 2 - 3 years manufacturing related experience
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of good manufacturing practices
• Fluency in English both oral and written
