Known for providing its employees with a supportive and challenging atmosphere, fostering growth and personal development, IMP Aerostructures has an immediate opening for a motivated individual to join its winning team!Position Overview:Reporting to the Vice President, General Manager based at our facility in Amherst, Nova Scotia, this Mission Critical role acts as the main point of contact for our customers, readily responding to and addressing concerns, to ensure expectations and deliverables meet or exceed contractual requirements and business objectives.What You Will Do: Conduct detailed analysis of expected program performance as compared to actual, and recommend solutions to address any deviations from expected outcomes. Review all customer contracts and identify improvements that will positively impact contractual outcomes. Work with the customers procurement team, identifying opportunities and generation of new revenue. Lead and develop project plans to prioritize the transition of new work into the facility. Manage the day-to-day activities of the Customer Service Representatives, liaising with customers on order status. Act as the lead in program review meetings when they are hosted at the customer’s premises. Liaise with the production organization when delivery expectations are not being met. Ensure on-time delivery of all contracts, working with all other functions to resolve issues that arise. Working closely with Finance personnel, review program performance ensuring that action is being taken to correct and improve program results. Chair internal and external program review meetings, interfacing with customers and or Government executive level personnel. Assist in development of the strategic plan. Ensure that quotes and proposals are accurate and submitted on time. Perform detailed reviews and provide recommendations on the inventories for semi and finished goods. Other duties as assigned. What You Will Bring: University degree in a relevant field. Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a program management role. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is considered an asset. Experience in the Aerospace and / or Manufacturing Industries preferred. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate results. Must possess advanced computer skills including MS Office and Microsoft Project. Requires a high degree of communication and negotiation skills with both the external customer and the internal organization. Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills. Must be eligible to meet requirements for Canadian controlled goods program (CGP), U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Canadian Government security clearances.
