Northern Truck & Industrial Supplies Ltd - your official NAPA Traction dealer is seeking a Parts Person to join our dynamic team! We are proud supporters in our local community, and believe supporting local is important! Our staff members are friendly, experienced, and set the bar high when it comes to customer service. We have a great team, and would love the right person to join us. We're looking for a person with parts experience, and the ability to keep organized in a high paced friendly work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively communicate features, benefits and warranty policy information to customer
  • Provide product expertise and relevant parts recommendations as required.
  • Manage the procurement of parts and supplies necessary for operations.
  • Utilize forklift equipment for the safe movement of parts within the facility.
  • Demonstrate a positive, helpful attitude as well as professional conduct and appearance at all times.
  • Handle cash and other purchasing transactions.
  • Operate the electronic and paper cataloging system to retrieve up to date parts information.
  • Create and maintain customer relationships.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Skills

  • Strong mechanical knowledge in light/heavy duty auto parts.
  • Excellent customer service skills to effectively assist clients and address their needs.
  • Proficient in data entry with attention to detail for accurate record-keeping.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Proficiency in computer systems, including point of sale
