Paving Crew Member / Roller Operator

Andrew Heikoop Construction (AHC Paving) is a family owned and operated paving contractor. We are looking for a motivated individual with a positive attitude, and attention to detail to join our team.

Duties would include;

• Assist the paving crew foreman with various tasks as required
• Perform physical work such as shoveling, raking, tamping and sweeping
• Perform basic maintenance such as inspecting, greasing, and fueling equipment
• Operate vibratory plate compactors and rollers to compact soil, gravel and asphalt
• Assist as required with maintaining a safe and tidy jobsite
• Work independently and follow instructions.
• Proficiently use GPS technology such as Google Maps
• Experience operating and/or floating paving/heavy equipment considered an asset
• Valid G license with clean driving abstract is required
• Commercial license considered an asset

Job Types : Full-time, Seasonal

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
