Restaurant General Manager

We are looking to build on our existing management team with a positive and bright individual, preferably with Kitchen experience.

This role would be perfect for a previous Kitchen Manager looking to transition to the Front of House.

The position is for 44 hours, with an emphasis on weekend work (our busiest time). Pay will commensurate with experience, and you will be eligible for bonus and benefits.

We are looking for somebody with experience in #'s (inventory analytics, labour, management of expenses) and who excels in providing excellent service. We are also looking for somebody who treats their employees with respect, and maintains and PROMOTES a positive outlook during the ebbs and flows of the business - things can get from boring to hairy in 3 minutes flat!

This experience would require cross-training and management among all aspects of the business, which is why kitchen management experience would truly be an asset.

Qualifications:

  • You MUST have prior management experience in a full-service restaurant, no exceptions.
  • Great availability, especially weekends, (including Sunday).
  • You MUST be able to hold a conversation with anybody, confidence is an absolute must.
  • Servers: Smart Serve and Food Handler's is a requirement before you can start
  • First aid and/or Health & Safety training is not a requirement, but is an asset
  • The ability to retain a lot in a small amount of time... our menu is complex, and the training is very in-depth.

You will be required to know all positions, in order to provide the best service possible.
