JOB SUMMARY: Lantic is currently recruiting for the temporary position of Talent Acquisition Specialist based at our Montreal refinery. The position reports to the Corporate Human Resources Director. The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for the recruitment process of all salaried positions across all Lantic sites. The incumbent presents qualified candidates to the managers based upon the positions’ expectations. He/she assesses the candidates’ abilities, verifies references and background checks, prepares the employment offer letters and takes part in the on-boarding process. The Talent Acquisition Specialist ensures the hiring process is in line with Lantic’s values and offers rigorous support along the process. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Ensure the provisions of the Talent Acquisitions policies and procedures are integrated in the process for management positions; • Receive and sort resumes to respond to the job requirements for the position to be filled; • Provide lasting support and advices to managers when it comes to the recruitment and selection processes; • Prepare the job descriptions for the non-operational salaried positions and make sure to receive related approvals, in collaboration with the Hiring Manager; • Share the job posting internally and externally for salaried employees; • Select the accurate recruitment sources, do a pre-screen of the candidates, carry out the first phone interview and participate in the in-person interviews; • Have the ability to attribute each candidate to the correct department depending on the opportunities organization-wide and promote Lantic to potential incumbents; • Coordinate requests, references and medical examination for the selected candidates; • Advise candidates by email if their candidacy has not been retained, for salaried positions; • Prepare and share the Appointment Notice for salaried positions in collaboration with the Hiring Manager; • Ensure the personnel requisitions are completed and legitimate; • Prepare job offers for salaried employees and present them occasionally to selected candidates; • Participate in the employee file management by creating folders, follow-up with signatures (contracts, internal policies and non-disclosure agreement) and ensure the on-boarding documents are completed thoroughly; • Participate in the establishment of the on-boarding schedule for new employees with the concerned managers; • Offer clerical support occasionally on specific corporative initiatives; • Assist with any other duties as the need arises. QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or relevant field; • Minimum of two (2) to five (5) years of experience in a similar position; • Recruitment experience for a wide range of positions in different departments; • Diverse background in other Human Resources functions (an asset); • Experience in National Recruitment (an asset);• French/English bilingualism (spoken and written) in order to be able to communicate with both our English- and French-speaking sites;• Good knowledge of MS Office;• Sense of ethics and integrity; • Excellent organisational and clerical skills; • Team player, professional and rigorous; • Excellent interpersonal and relational skills; • Excellent communication skills; • Ability for analysis and synthesis, results-oriented; • Dynamic and sense of urgency; • Ability to work under pressure while meeting high expectations; • Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.
