THE ROLE

Real Property Management is seeking a skilled and motivated Property Manager to join our team. This hybrid role offers the opportunity for remote work while ensuring necessary on-site presence for effective property management. During the training period, the incumbent will be required to work on site Monday to Friday to facilitate comprehensive training and integration into the role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1) Property Owner Relations:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for property owners.
  • Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with property owners.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to property owners regarding property performance and issues.

2) Leasing and Tenant Management:

  • Oversee the leasing process, including tenant approvals, lease agreements, and lease renewals.
  • Conduct rent reviews and recommend adjustments as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with local tenancy laws and regulations.
  • Address tenant concerns and issues promptly and professionally.

3) Maintenance Coordination:

  • Track and follow up on maintenance requests to ensure timely resolution.
  • Work closely with the maintenance team to prioritize and manage repair and maintenance tasks.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to identify and address maintenance needs.

4) Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with leasing agents to ensure properties are marketed effectively and vacancies are filled promptly.
  • Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure properties are well-maintained and meet safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with all team members to ensure cohesive and efficient property management operations.

5) Financial Management:

  • Oversee rent collection and ensure timely payments.
  • Prepare and manage budgets for property operations.
  • Provide financial reports and updates to property owners.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in property management or real estate administration is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of property management software (e.g., AppFolio, Buildium) is a plus.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
