Administrative Assistant Responsibilities :

  • Preparing, reports, memos, letters, and other documents.
  • Handling basic bookkeeping tasks.
  • Filing and retrieving records, documents, and reports.
  • Researching and conducting data to prepare documents for review and presentation by directors, committees, and executives.
  • Helping prepare for meetings.
  • Keeping track of deliverables and submission deadlines in order to ensure timely submissions and compliance.
  • Accurately recording minutes from meetings.
  • Greeting visitors and deciding with whom they should meet.
  • Using various software, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software.
  • Reading and analyzing incoming memos, submissions, and distributing them as needed.
  • Making travel arrangements.
  • Performing office duties that include ordering supplies and managing a records database.
  • Experience as a virtual assistant.
  • Provide general administrative support.

Administrative Assistant Requirements :

  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or other relevant administrative support experience.
  • Very organized.
  • In-depth understanding of entire MS Office suite.
  • Undergraduate degree.
  • Experience in an educational setting a definite asset. Experience at a Private Career College preferred.
  • Ability to organize a daily workload by priorities.
  • Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced quickly changing environment.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills.
  • Professional, advanced level verbal and written communications skills.
  • Professional in appearance and attire

  • AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
