Join Our Team for the Fall Turnaround in Redwater, AB!

FLINT is seeking energetic and self-driven Pipefitters to join our team for the upcoming Turnaround in Redwater, AB, from September 9, 2024, to September 28, 2024.

As a Pipefitter, you'll be immersed in various tasks, from studying blueprints and layouts to assembling and installing pipes, valves, and fittings. We encourage you to apply if you hold a Journeyperson Pipefitter ticket/certification, possess the necessary safety certifications, and have operating plant experience.

What would you be doing?
  • Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the type of pipe and instruments to use and lay out the sequence of tasks.
  • Draft detailed sketches for pipe and equipment fabrication and installation.
  • Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, assemble, and install metal, plastic, and fibreglass pipes, valves, and fittings.
  • Join pipe sections and related equipment and secure in position.
  • Use testing equipment to check systems for leaks.
  • Maintain and repair piping systems.
Does this sound like you?
  • Journeyperson or Apprentice Pipefitter ticket/certification.
  • Valid CSTS-20 and H2S Alive tickets.
  • Valid AWP (Aerial Work Platform), Fall Protection, and Confined Space- Entry tickets are assets.
  • Experience with hydro testing an asset.
  • Enjoy a varied workload.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
  • Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job, including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs.), climbing, shoveling, bending, twisting, etc.

This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
