Description: Dildo Brewing Co. is looking for an experienced individual for our Packaging Lead and Quality Management position. Are you observant with an eye for detail, able to ensure that our products meet all necessary requirements before they reach the shelves? Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to: ·      Packaging of beers into cans - operating the CIMEC 50 cpm filler and leading the packaging team ·      Cleaning! Superficial cleaning of packaging equipment, CIP (clean-in-place). ·      Operate aspects of packaging including quality checks, labeling, palletizing, and movement of finished and raw materials ·      Documentation of quality parameters and verifying that beer meets specifications. ·      Equipment maintenance ·      Data collection, manipulation and presentation form the cellar to the finished product. ·      Performing quality tests using a wide range of instrumentation including a DO meter, CO2 meter, ATP meter, measuring and reporting PU’s and seam specs. ·      Ability to troubleshoot packaging equipment and communicate issues to coworkers and ownership. ·      Keeping production areas clean and organized at all times. ·      Communicating with all departments and other packaging team members on the status of packaging. ·      Organize, track, and audit packaging inventory ·      Shipping finished product and receiving deliveries of raw material/packaging material. ·      Washing, filling, palletizing and storing kegs for use and distribution. ·      Liaising with the brewing and sales team to facilitate production and distribution while promoting quality and best handling practices ·      Optimizing procurement of packaging materials Requirements: ·      3+ years of experience in the beverage packaging industry and/or packaging equipment operation OR College Diploma or University Degree in Brewing, Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Science, Mechanical, Chemical or Process Engineering ·      Proven ability to work well under pressure ·      Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, AutoCad and brewery management software is encouraged. ·      Able to lift 50 kg in repetition ·      Employee will be required to obtain a forklift license as well as First Aid and WHIMS Training Salary & Benefits: Salary based on qualifications.
