Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining a resilient eCommerce platform. Your primary focus is to discover opportunities for automation across our platform and to optimize our infrastructure management. You spearhead improvements to the developer experience that empower the development team to focus on implementing business features. Self-service enablement is your mantra. Meanwhile, you ensure outstanding availability for Arc’teryx's digital properties, including Magento/Adobe Commerce.In this position, you will not only contribute to the development of the platform but also serve as a mentor to fellow developers, support key initiatives, and help shape the technology strategy for the company's digital properties. Your expertise in platform development and strategic thinking will be essential in driving innovation and maintaining the highest standards of performance and reliability.This role is primarily based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. You have 4+ years of IT engineering in a mix of infrastructure and development rolesYou have 4+ years of experience in a DevOps roleYou have strong experience with DevOps lifecycle, CI/CD integrations and workflowsYou have strong scripting and automation skillsYou have experience integrating 3rd party tools into the CI/CD such as Code quality and security scanning, Unit testing, Performance testing and Visual automationYou are familiar with AWS or Azure cloud platforms and infrastructure management tools such as Terraform or CloudFormationYou have experience with Serverless Framework or SST on AWSYou have an in-depth understanding of the software development lifecycle and can communicate project and operation status, issues, risks and resolutions in an agile development methodologyYou have experience integrating GraphQL You have knowledge of Event driven architectureYou have knowledge of Micro Services concepts and architectureYou have experience with CDN implementation and management You have exceptional communication, problem solving, and documentation skills You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity You are able to balance autonomy and collaboration You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement You seek the best (but sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it $104,000 - $130,000 a yearA reasonable estimate of the pay range is $104,000 - $130,000 CAD at the time of this posting.
