As a global-leading health and well-being provider – encompassing physical, mental and financial health – TELUS Health is improving health outcomes for consumers, patients, healthcare professionals, employers and employees.-Bilingual Trauma Response Specialist Anywhere in CanadaFull time, defined term contract (one year)Hybrid (work from home and onsite)The opportunityResponsible for delivering telephonic, virtual and onsite Critical Incident Stress Management intervention after a traumatic workplace event, as well as consultation for CIR and related services.Why join TELUS Health:Equivalent of four weeks of vacation; Clinical supervision to support professional development;Consistent work hours for a better work/life balance;Work environment that supports diversity and inclusion.What you will do: Support groups of clients virtually in the immediate aftermath following a traumatic workplace event;Provide a preliminary assessment of a presenting workplace situation, and coach managers as required;Organize traumatic event support services by interacting with internal clients, external clients and affiliate providers;Manage the administrative requirements as dictated by the Trauma team;Occasionally travel on-site to deliver defusing, debriefing or on-site support for terminations/downsizings.Who we are looking for:Master’s Degree in Counselling, Psychology or Social Work; Registration with professional College (when available) or Counselling Association is mandatory; Bilingualism in English and French is required;Post-masters clinical experience;Experience delivering group critical incident debriefing is required;CISM, CISD or Psychological First Aid training or EMDR certification is an asset;Group counselling experience is an asset;Demonstrated crisis management skills and ability to provide crisis solutions to clients;A valid driver's license is required.A bit about usWe’re a people-focused, customer-first, purpose-driven team who works together every day to innovate and do good.
