FLINT is eagerly seeking journeyperson and apprentice pipefitters (with a preference for second year and above) to join our team for the upcoming Turnarounds in the Hinton Area starting September 9th, 2024. Upon completion, there will be an opportunity to transfer to other projects immediately.

What would you be doing
  • Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the type of pipe and instruments to use and lay out the sequence of tasks.
  • Draft detailed sketches for pipe and equipment fabrication and installation.
  • Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, assemble, and install metal, plastic, and fibreglass pipes, valves, and fittings.
  • Join pipe sections and related equipment and secure in position.
  • Use testing equipment to check systems for leaks.
  • Maintain and repair piping systems.
Does this sound like you?
  • Journeyperson or apprentice pipefitter ticket
  • Valid CSTS-20, CSO, H2S Alive, Standard First Aid.
  • Enjoy a varied workload.
  • Must have your own reliable transportation.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
  • Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job, including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs.), climbing, shoveling, bending, twisting, etc.

This position has been identified as a safety-sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
