Accounting Technician, Fixed Assets

We are looking for an Accounting Technician, Fixed Assets to w ork with different colleagues from multiple departments and other divisions and b e part of a young, dynamic and dedicated team. You'll h ave the opportunity to develop and use your knowledge of general accounting in the context of a multinational company.

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPOTUNITY TO : Be responsible for reviewing fixed asset acquisition invoices to ensure their appropriate classification (capitalizable nature or expense)

Be responsible for reviewing and executing asset disposition requests in SAP

Participate in the month-end process by performing various transactions in the fixed assets module, accounting entries and certain SOX controls

Support the preparation of various management reports (support for Finance / managers / tax teams)

Support users of the capitalizable expenses planning tool

Maintain dedicated inbox for the fixed assets team

Participate in continuous improvement projects

Provide support to financial analysts

Responsible for reviewing and opening CAAR requests (Capital Asset Acquisition Request)

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES: College diploma in accounting

Knowledge of SAP (an asset)

Good knowledge of French and English (both oral and written)

Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite

Minimum of one to three (1 to 3) years of experience

Good sense of planning and organization

Excellent ability to manage priorities and work in a team

Aims for continuous improvement in the execution of its tasks

Working method focused on meticulousness and rigor
