Position : Cleaner
Location : Woodgrove Centre, Nanaimo BC
Shift : Thurs-Mon (38 hours/week) (Flexibility is needed to work shifts)
Wages : $16.35/hour and benefits after 2 months of employment, extended medical benefit also inculded
About the role : We are looking for a cleaner to join our team at Nanaimo location. The Cleaner will be responsible for keeping the mall area in clean and orderly condition. This is a part time opportunity and can be converted into full time position based on the performance. Alpine is proud of the essential service we provide, keeping communities safe and sanitized.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Cleaning and sanitizing that includes washrooms & other common areas
- Sweeping, vacuuming and mopping all floors in the mall area
- Stacking and unstacking of chairs in food court
- Collect and dispose trash in garbage containers on a regular basis.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the site supervisor or manager
Requirement & Competencies :
- A willingness to work and learn
- Ability to obtain a background/security clearance and reliability check.
- Reliable, responsible, positive attitude and hard working
- Ability to work in night shifts. Flexible to do shifts in week
