We are currently recruiting for a Boat Operator to operate a 14’ Aluminum Boat, with a 20 Hp outboard motor. This is to be to be operated on the North Saskatchewan River for our project in Strathcona!**
This position is in Strathcona County, AB and does not have camp accommodations, travel allowance, or living out allowance.
Shift is 5 days on 2 days off - chance to work overtime if needed
Responsibilities :
- Operation of workboat in a safe and capable manner
- Escorting of crew members
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials
- Turbidity monitoring
- Conduct basic maintenance and safety inspections of work boats and other project equipment
Requirements :
- Experienced in the operation of boats
- Valid Boat License
- CSTS 2020 & WHMIS 2015
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
