In an ever-changing, fast paced world, we owe it to ourselves and our future generations to live life responsibly.At ROCKWOOL, we work relentlessly to enrich modern living through our innovative stone wool solutions.Join us and make a difference!What you will be doing:Assist in the development of NA payroll services including process design, internal team development, vendor management and system enhancements to ensure optimal performance in the delivery of payroll servicesOversee payroll operations, including ensuring accurate and efficient payroll processing such as taxes, garnishments, benefit deductions, health and welfare contributions, payroll accountingEnsure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations and policies regarding payments of wages, tax withholding, garnishments, and employee elected deductionsStay up-to-date with rules, regulations and any guidelines related to payroll and tax legislationAccountable for maintaining controls and compliance of the overall payroll processAssist in the develop continuous strategic process improvements to maintain the accuracy, quality, efficiency and overall effectiveness of the payroll process, and decrease risk of errorsAssist in the deployment of new tools, systems, processes to enhance the quality, efficiency and delivery of payroll processesSupport all timekeeping and ancillary areasProject manage systems upgrades and enhancements as neededWhat you bring:5+ years of experience working in a progressive payroll position within a corporate, or similar, environmentSolid knowledge of core, end-to-end payroll processes and procedures including controlsAdvanced project management skillsMust perform well in high-energy, dynamic and team-oriented environmentsEffective organization and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlinesExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish working relationships with individuals at various levels within the organizationHigh degree of initiative, mature judgment and discretionKnowledge of related tax rules and regulations requiredAdvanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), and Zendesk a plusExcellent verbal and written communication and presentation skillsStrong sense of urgency, accountability and result orientedStrong analytical skills: ability to think big, act small and scale fastSuperior detail orientation: values accuracy and has high standards around quality of workPrior experience with Dayforce requiredPrior experience with Workday a plusPrior Canada or US payroll processing experience a mustBachelor’s degree in relevant field preferredCEBS, CBP, or CPP accreditation is a plusWhat we offer:Competitive salary Comprehensive benefits package including Health, Dental, Vision, Massage Therapy & more Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) and Paid Holidays Retirement Pension Matching Program Work/Life BalanceLife and Disability Programs Educational Assistance Top up plans for maternity and paternity leave Fitness Reimbursement Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Who we areWe are the world leader in stone wool solutions.
