Medicine Hat College’s Student Services Department is welcoming applications for a regular, full-time Student Integrity and Compliance Officer.

A little about the role:

The primary responsibility for this position is to play an integral role in our commitment to students’ educational, social and personal well-being and to serve as a key resource to the college in maintaining a safe campus and learning environment. This position is responsible for the coordination and the overall application and administration of both academic and non-academic student misconduct policies. This includes working with members of the campus community to provide confidential advice and referrals, investigate and resolve alleged student misconduct cases, determine sanctions, facilitate training on navigating and resolving various forms of conflict and misconduct. Additionally, this position would marshal resources to manage cases, institute proactive programs to prevent occurrence of serious incidents and to support student appeals.

Salary Range: $74,234 - $89,336 per annum

As a successful applicant you will have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR an equivalent combination of related post-secondary education and work experience.
  • Five (5) years directly related experience.
  • Preferred experience within post-secondary educational environment.
  • Certificate and/or coursework in emergency management, hazard planning, disaster resiliency, risk assessment.
