For the Workforce Development Stream.

The Project Managers are directly responsible for the overall management of specific project. Here are a list of shared duties:

  1. Organize inspections and communicate with client

  2. Ensure core documentation is complete for every project

  3. Ensure schedules are met and timelines are fulfilled

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare for estimates by gathering sub trade quotes, scoping the loss in precise detail, sketching the loss location on site and transferring to cloud based programs and gather all other related documents
  • Identify and colaborate labour, material, and time sheets as required to meet client specifications.
  • Consult with clients, vendors, engineers and city inspectors to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues
  • Maintain close support with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure that estimates are accurate.
  • Review plans & specifications to determine scope of work and to define project requirements
  • Develop proposals from project estimates (scope, schedule, cost, team, execution plan)
  • Provide a construction-driven, resource-loaded project schedule to identify when each task will be performed
  • Effectively manage project scope and be accountable for project team performance and results
  • Track and report regularly on project progress
  • Any practical field experience is an asset
  • Solid understanding of construction practices is an asset
  • Strong analytical skills and construction detailing practices with great attention to detail & the ability to recognize discrepancies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong work ethic - willing to do what it takes to get the job done
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Outstanding time management, prioritization, multitasking, and organizational skills

Job Type : Fixed term contract

Salary : $49,920.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
