Our valued crown corporation client is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Technical Advisor to develop a roadmap for enhancements and stabilization of the ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB)!Initial 1-year contract with a strong possibility of two additional 1-year extensions. 7.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday. Contract can be worked % remotely (in EST timezone) but preference will be given to candidates who are able to accommodate a hybrid 2 day/week on-site schedule in Ottawa, ON. Responsibilities:Perform ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB) assessments and develop a roadmap for enhancements and stabilizationIdentify opportunity for improving the quality of the data in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB)Troubleshoot and debug existing Configuration Management Database (CMDB) interfaces and improve themEstablish a technical project plan with key milestones and providing status updatesCreate ServiceNow epics and storiesDocument key technical decisions, issues, and enhancements through the entire development lifecycleReport on development work progressWork with the support team to ensure transition from development to operationProvide guidance and expertise to various stakeholders throughout the life of the projectCommunicate and collaborate with project team members and key stakeholders throughout the life of the projectMust-have Skills5+ years of demonstrated experience as a ServiceNow Technical Advisor, Lead, or similar role 5+ years of experience with ServiceNow CMDB (Configuration Management Database)
