This position requires someone who is passionate about planning and resource development and working with local and Indigenous communities. This person should be data-driven, a fast adapter of technology, and able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing to diverse audiences.This position will be responsible for working with our clients to manage their tenure obligations and plan forest development, harvesting, and silviculture activities. Well-rounded, organized individuals will excel in this role.Key Accountabilities: Forest Development PlanningStakeholder consultationCutting permit applicationsReport writing and general office tasksThis position will require frequent travel throughout BCCompliance with all company safety policies and general company policies Qualifications Registered Forest Professional (RFT or RPF).Minimum of two years experience with forest planning, appraisal, and cutting permit development.Experience with FESBC and other provincial funding opportunities.Experience with Indigenous organizations and community forests is an asset.Valid BC driver’s license.Working knowledge of the BC regulatory system.
