Join the Housing Programs team within Financial Operations where we make delivering housing affordability solutions easy. In the Bilingual Manager, Programs position, you will be responsible for carrying out management responsibilities for the delivery of business activities or other CMHC initiatives and direct the management of client files. You will also oversee and develop a team of staff, and manage the administration of day-to-day operations, client relations and/or data collection and research. We currently have 2 temporary full-time positions available. The duration for these roles is 18 months. What you’ll do: Ensure prudent, effective, and efficient delivery of program initiatives and consistency in the application and interpretation of program policies and operational procedures. Manage risk by monitoring the quality of results, market conditions and key performance indicators (KPIs), and by taking appropriate action. Support construction funding commitments and provide input for legal contracts, funding strategies and payment of advances. Develop, implement and monitor plans and processes to improve operations and promote continuous improvement. Work closely with internal CMHC colleagues and internal partners to ensure a seamless end-to-end client experience. Analyze and deploy tactics and strategies to improve risk performance. Set objectives and take responsibility for engagement, enabling a culture of learning, performance management and accountability. Align people with work in order to achieve organizational objectives and results. Develop strategies, identify improvements and collaborate on issue resolution with national teams, local partners and stakeholders. What you should have: An undergraduate degree in a related field, such as business administration, finance or real estate law. A minimum of seven (7) years of experience delivering a product or service, including three (3) years of supervisory experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. An exceptional ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment with the ability to lead others in times of change. Strong oral and written communication skills in both languages (French and English), including the ability to influence, persuade others and present information to a variety of audiences. Well-developed research, data collection and intelligence-gathering skills. The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
