LOCATION :170 Southgate Drive Guelph, ON

SHIFT SCHEDULE :Full-Time, Monday to Friday - Afternoons Shift (3:00pm to 11:30pm)

PAY : $19-$20 per hour

SUMMARY : The Operations Team Member, reporting into the Operations Care Center Manager, is responsible for the cremation process, which includes operating the crematory, processing and packaging cremated remains.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT/KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Packing finalized products and ensure accuracy of orders before leaving facility.
  • Complete all assigned Quality checks
  • Participate in training and cross training, improvement initiatives including health and safety and quality improvement
  • Perform basic cleaning and housekeeping activities such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
  • Use all required safety equipment, e.g. Safety-toed shoes, safety glasses /goggles, etc.
  • Follow safety procedures to protect themselves and others from exposure to hazardous materials or dust particles.
  • Other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED : Education, Experience and Training

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 12 months experience in a service industry

WORKING CONDITIONS :

  • Regularly bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, sitting, repetitive motion, hand/wrist/finger motion
  • Regular lifting/moving up to 50lbs.
  • May be exposed to elevated noise levels.
  • May be exposed to elevated heat levels.
