DESCRIPTION

We are currently looking for a self-motivated individual to become an integral part of our team at our Kitchener Branch and occupy the position of VMI Driver. If you want to work in a dynamic team environment and you excel when being trusted with responsibility then Westburne is the place for you.

Responsibilities :

• Receive and process orders from customers to deliver directly to site and replenish their stock bins. Maintaining & organizing the material (including labelling) at the customer site.
• Count inventory at customer site to identify items to be replenished on next shipment using a mobile device.
• Build relationships with our customers by assisting with any product inquiries and maintaining vendor managed inventory.
• Select orders for electrical parts and products, check for accuracy and pack for shipment
• Process and prepare paperwork for shipping including bills of lading, shipping invoices and freight costs
• Receive and verify accuracy of incoming shipments; correctly enter incoming inventory into the AS400 computer system
• Process returns following established procedures and re-enter into computerized inventory system
• Participate in regular cycle counts and annual inventory
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Adhere to established Health & Safety procedures and practices
• Pick-up and deliver shipments locally using the branch cargo van

Qualifications :

• Full G driver's license and a clean driving record
• You have the proven ability to communicate effectively and build customer relationships
• The ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
• 2-3 years experience in the Electrical Distribution
• Electrical distribution industry or warehousing experience preferred
• Computer literacy is an asset
• You have experience using AS400 (an asset)
