Staffinity is seeking a Data Reporting Specialist for a client located in the Guelph area. This is a full-time, permanent position with base salary, vacation and benefits and RRSP matching. The work schedule is hybird with Mon-Wed in the office and the other days at home. The base salary range for the position is 70-87.5k. Vacation will be 2 weeks for the first year (prorated) and will increase to 4 weeks in year 2. Responsibilities:Consult with stakeholders to determine data and/or reporting needsExtract and integrate new and existing data sourcesWrite reports and deliver data using advanced queries/scripts in SQLTranslate user needs into detailed technical specificationsPromote standardization across the various requests for information to ensure efficiency and qualityDocument data processes and project details in the documentation systemDevelop and build reports using Tableau and PeopleSoft reporting tools, including PS Query, that deliver accurate and effective information to diverse audiencesQualifications:University degree in a related discipline5+ years of progressive work experienceStrong experience working with data sets for reporting and analysisStrong knowledge and proficient use of PS Query, SQL and complex SQL queriesStrong knowledge of and experience with data visualization/reporting toolsExperience with Tableau, including its Data Management and Server Management toolsProgramming skills e.g., Oracle development tools
