Position Summary : Reporting to the Vice President, Digital Strategy & eCommerce, the Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for implementing and monitoring digital marketing efforts across all digital networks. This will be a remote regional position.

Accountabilities : Primary responsibilities include maintaining content, photography and seasonal merchandising updates for the various property websites, local listings and third party listings.

Requirements : Qualification Standards

Education & Experience :

  • Degree in Hotel Management/Marketing preferred
  • At least 2 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field
  • Previous hotel sales an asset
  • Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively
  • Strong attention to detail

Essential Duties & Functions

  • Approach all encounters with guests, corporate team and employees in a friendly, service oriented manner
  • Maintain regular attendance, as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the hotel
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, as defined in the hotel handbook, when working
  • Comply at all times with New Castle standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations
  • Supports the digital marketing strategy set by the VP and Director of Digital, that aligns with business priorities
  • Manage digital presence for property websites & third party channels
  • Manages content and photo distribution for all digital assets
  • Ensure accuracy and clarity of each properties website, including grammar, punctuation, spelling
  • Research available merchandising opportunities in the various markets, for both free and paid listings
  • Maintain OTA content scores above 95%
  • Complete comprehensive quarterly audits of all digital assets
  • Responsible for in-bound link development from relevant sites & directories
  • Assist with monitoring paid media campaigns
  • Prepare accurate reports on digital performance
  • Collaboration with SMR leaders to execute promotional strategy
  • Supports group lead generation efforts via quarterly Cvent audits
  • Prepare daily/weekly schedule and set priorities, while scheduling time effectively
  • Monitor the implementation of plans and actions according to an effective time schedule
  • Maintain effective communication with all internal/external stakeholders
  • Completes other reasonable duties as requested by leadership
  • Comply with and enforce all local alcohol related laws and regulations
  • Keep immediate supervisors fully informed of all challenges or matters requiring his/her attention
  • Maintain open door policy
  • Check and respond to electronic communications in a timely fashion
