What You Bring

  • 1 year accounting experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
  • 1 year casino experience, preferably in the Cage or Count Room Department
  • Post-secondary education in business, accounting or related courses preferred.
  • Solid understanding of casino cash handling
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Cash Cage and Count Room activities
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Sound knowledge of table game and electronic gaming machine reconciliation including GMS, SDS and CMP
  • Excellent communication - both verbal and written, interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Solid problem-solving skills and sound judgement; ability to identify and correct paperwork errors.
  • Knowledge of Cash Advance, Cash Dispensing (TRM) and ATM systems including reconciliation.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a gaming license.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct audits and reconciliations of daily paperwork generated by the gaming sites, verifying accuracy and compliance with established procedures and regulations.
  • Review cash dispensing reconciliations for discrepancies, investigating and resolving any identified issues promptly.
  • Perform month-end reviews and audits of cash floats, ensuring proper accounting and reconciliation procedures are followed.
  • Assist in training casino personnel on cash and chip related policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and reconciliation processes, emphasizing the importance of accurate balancing of gaming transactions and cash dispensing machines.
  • Support the maintenance of bank signatories and updating of cash ordering accounts to facilitate smooth cash management operations.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as required to support the efficient operation of the auditing function and overall cash administration objectives.

  • Casino and office setting
  • Ability to sit, stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Travel within their respective region as required.
