Overview We are currently looking for someone to join our team in the role of Billing Coordinator in our Waterloo office. This is a temporary Full-Time position. Hours of work will be Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm and will be hybrid (rotation in office and in home). What We Offer Competitive salary, comprehensive health and dental benefitsOther employment perks such as Employee Assistance Program, Perkopolis, Rewards PointsInspiring leadership and opportunities for professional growthRewarding and meaningful work in healthcare What The Role Involves Prepares the weekly billing files and transmits them to the Home and Community Care Support Services (HCCSS) thru HPG.Prepares the bi-weekly payroll file and send to the payroll department according to a predetermined schedule.Enters data that will affect changes to payroll (i.e. travel and mileage).Reviews timesheets for front line staff for accuracy and reasonability for payroll and to ensure accurate billing within ProcuraIdentifies variances in timesheet data and corrects as appropriate to accurately produce reports.Responds to Nurses, CSW and Therapists inquiries regarding payroll issues and concerns and refers complex issues to Manager or designate as required.Internal and External CommunicationMaintains good working relationships with operations and service purchasers, responding in a timely manner to inquiriesAbility to use discretion when handling private/sensitive information.Contributes to a healthy and safe working environment.Performs other duties as required. What You Bring The minimum qualifications for this job are completion of one to two years of post-secondary school education including a one-two year community college course and 6 months but less than one (1) years of job-related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Preferred Skills:Strong verbal and written communication skills are essentialExcellent MS Office computer software system skillsAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsGood analytical, time management and problem-solving skillKnowledge of the Procura scheduling and billing system an asset.Clear Background Check CarePartners In Your Community In addition to providing home-based health care, CarePartners also serves the community through clinics, transitional care units, and provides relief in retirement homes and shared care settings.
