Barista/customer Service

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, including food preparation, service, and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations. Smart Serve certification required.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability.
• Monitor inventory levels and report to management to order supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with staff to create and update menu offerings.
• Handle customer complaints annd escalate to management to resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

Requirements :

• Previous experience as a Barista in the café and or food industry, preferably in a full or part time role.
• Strong knowledge of café & food handling and safety procedures. Experience with high-end espresso machines a big plus.
• Self driven and confident to effectively manage self and mentor team mates.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive customer experience and nurturing relationships.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations and remain personable.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and special event days as needed.
