Dispatcher

If you have experience as a dispatcher and would like to join our family owned Towing Company for 30+ years, we want to be hear from you!

The ideal person would be someone who has lived in Stayner and surrounding area and is familiar with the locations in our area and can work with our team to dispatch our drivers; which is a very fast paced environment.

We are looking for someone who is flexible with shifts; we have afternoons, weekends to be able to full-fill.

Below are a list of some tasks on each shift dispatchers are required to complete:

• monitoring drivers on our tracking system to make sure they are en-route to their calls that you have dispatched to in a timely manner
• providing drivers with accurate locations, and breakdown information of the vehicle they are servicing
• maintaining a positive, caring and supportive communications with drivers at any time. If they need any direction of where they are going to their call to help provide.
• Preforming day-to-day administrative tasks, maintaining daily paperwork
• Keeping work environment clean and tidy at all times
• Prioritizing and organizing work to accomplish your daily tasks
• Developing and maintaining constructive and cooperative working relationships.
• Documenting all service failures and incident reports where applicable

Job Type : Part-time Part-time hours: 24 per week

Salary : Up to $20.00 per hour

• Weekend availability COVID-19 considerations: Customers we still ask to please wear a mask as we are in a small area, Regular wiping down of desk workstations, doors etc are performed.

Experience :

• dispatch: 1 year (preferred)
