Located in beautiful Sidney, BC (as well as Belligham, WA) we are a full-service yacht company. We offer charters, flotillas, training courses, maintenance and repairs and brokerage services. We service and charter a variety of power and sailboats.

Our Service Technicians are captivated by boats. As a company we strive to train and encourage our technicians whether they be junior technicians that are just starting quadrant or senior technicians that need annual upgrade training. Our Service Technicians operate in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing priorities all while remaining friendly, respectful and professional.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Repair the vessels in the manner as defined by the company, specifically to a very high standard while respecting the amount of hours it takes to do the work right
Adhering to ABYC standards as the benchmark for all work performed by our technicians
Maintaining and improving your tool inventory to constantly be better equipped to perform the work requested

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :

Strong customer service orientation.
Sufficient knowledge of boat engines/equipment to advise customers on a variety of services, including minor repair, scheduled maintenance programs, full commissioning, and refit.
Proficiency in identifying and delivering service solutions to meet business needs.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Effective organizational and time management skills.
Demonstrated ability to take initiative and effectively manage changing priorities.
Detail-oriented with excellent follow through skills.

Education & Experience ( we are willing to train in the areas noted below)

Technical background working in the pleasure boat industry.
Working knowledge of ABYC standards.
Computer literate and competent in Microsoft Office.

Salary : $35.00-$45.00 per hour
