We are looking for a hardworking, ambitious and reliable individual with 3-5 years’ experience in exterior/interior finish carpentry who is looking to build a career in woodworking. Education in carpentry and woodworking considered an asset.
Wage :dependent on skill level
- Determine specifications and calculate requirements
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes
- Fit and install doors, stairs, moldings and hardware
- Operate basic cutting equipment and power tools
Job Requirements :
- 3-5 years’ experience
- Physically demanding; Bending, crouching, kneeling; Combination of sitting, standing, walking
- College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma is an asset
- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
- Valid Driver’s License
