You are in great shape and capable of carrying up to 50 lb. deck boards. Your primary role is helping to load & strap customer orders onto either a flat deck truck or 20’ trailer, perform the daily safety circle check for the vehicle, and ensure everything on your load is complete and correct before leaving the yard. The majority of your deliveries are within the GTA (1-5 stops typically), and there will be the occasional pick up at our suppliers. Upon return to the yard, you are required to fuel up the vehicle and remove all garbage and recycling and have the vehicle ready for the next day.
Other duties/requirements include :
- Professionalism is expected while interacting with customers and coworkers
- Assisting yard staff with picking orders, shipping & receiving, inventory control, and yard maintenance.

Current clean driver’s abstract - 5 plus years verifiable driving history

Must be comfortable driving with a trailer

Must be punctual

Must have valid G license and be insurable to drive the company vehicles

Physically fit to handle loading and unloading at Yard and customer job sites

Have and use the WAZE app (free download) and good communication skills

Willing to work overtime when necessary

Forklift experience (or willingness to learn) is a plus

Post secondary education an asset.
