Our King City store (Dufferin and King Rd) is now hiring Cashier/Customer Service Staff to join our Customer Care Team!
- Greet customers and offer exception customer service; engaging and connecting with the customer to ensure that they have had a positive shopping experience
- Scan, process and bag customer orders accurately and with care
- Handle cash and EFT transactions accurately
- Provide customers with information on our unique items, sales items and up-selling
- Share customer feedback with management
- Adhere to SmartServe guidelines when processing alcohol sales
- Maintain a clean and safe workplace, adhering to sanitation policies
- Additional duties as required
Job Requirements

Previous experience working as a Cashier or Service in a grocery store is required

SmartServe Certification is required :

Passionate about customer service; approachable and enjoys helping customers

Health and safety orientated adhering to food, safety and sanitation standards

Excellent manual dexterity; comfortable standing, bending, walking and light lifting for long periods of time
