If you are looking for a company that is constantly moving forward in pursuit of successful outcomes, get ready to love it here!Hours: 35 per week including one evening a week (12-8) and approximately one Saturday per month (8-4).What you’ll be doing: From a social worker perspective, provide client-centered treatment and recovery-oriented support to clientsConduct comprehensive client assessments (includes in discipline specific assessments and multidisciplinary assessment instruments, client self-assessments, and reports by other service providers)Develop individualized client treatment/recovery plans in collaboration with the client and other stakeholdersAssume responsibility for the treatment, recovery process, and support of assigned clients within the context of primary worker and the larger teamFacilitate an optimally supportive environment including assistanceAdvocating for clients and promoting self-advocacy and client self-determination as appropriateProvide DBT, CBT and interpersonal group therapyFacilitate motivational enhancement in both individual and group sessionsProvide individual therapy to address comorbid conditionsMaintain accurate and timely documentation and reportsContribute to program development and program evaluation What you bring: Master’s Degree in Social WorkCurrent registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service WorkersTraining and educated in CBT and/or DBT and MindfulnessExperience working with individuals with complex mental health and addiction issues and traumaExperience in program development and deliveryExperience with family therapy and/or motivational interviewing preferredAbility to work independently and within an interdisciplinary teamGood communication and organizational skillsEffective computer skills and record keeping As part of our commitment to the health and safety of our patients, staff and community from COVID-19, subject to any accommodation required by applicable human rights legislation, Homewood Health Centre requires that all staff have received all required doses of a COVID-19 vaccine approved by Health Canada.Why work with usHomewood Health is Canada’s largest and leading service provider for medically focused, evidence-based treatment of mental health and addiction disorders.
