Duties

  • In office work.
  • Provide information about products and services, answer questions, and resolve complaints

Skills

  • Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficient in data entry with attention to detail
  • Previous experience in customer service or sales is preferred

The key thing, in a nutshell, is that we want an outgoing, engaged and friendly personor to put it another way

  • “a Starbucks graduate”. They need to see the larger picture, understand the customer’s possible needs and be proactive with friendly suggestions. It’s not about an “upsell”, it’s about guidance with their best interests at heart.

This is a Customer Service role, but if your outgoingness and drive enable you to contact new potential customers it will only help in being a bigger piece of the solution (which would be factored into your renumeration once proven). Computer and interpersonal skills are mandatory.

The work environment is a custom-built and separated home office that can contain multiple employees (and 2 Golden Doodles). You’d have the opportunity to talk with the other employees about the laid-back nature of the office. This is a job that if you can bring your “A" game you will find the owner to be quite flexible in terms of life-related needs (outside of working from home). The current employee is staying on, but her position is being split into two where she can do more “behind the scenes” work and a new person will take over the customer service portion of the role.

Job Types : Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends
