Chilangos Mexican Restaurant started at the Belleville Waterfront & Multicultural Festival ten years ago. It's a family-owned Mexican food restaurant recognized for its authentic dishes, great atmosphere, and excellent customer service. We're seeking Dishwashers to continue operating at our high standards and join our incredible team.

Requirements :

• You have previous experience working in the hospitality industry, which is preferable but not required.
• You follow instructions and perform tasks with accuracy, speed, and attention to detail.
• You are a team player, quick learner, energetic, respectful, proactive, punctual and reliable.
• You remain calm and motivated in a high-volume and fast-paced environment.
• You have Food Handler Certification. It is an asset.
• You can work in a standing position, bending and moving around for long periods in hot and damp environments, and lift and/or move up to fifty lbs.
• You have the flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays as required.

Role and responsibilities

What are some of the core activities you'll be performing?

• You'll clean dishes, silverware, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, etc.
• You'll keep the dishwashing machine clean and immediately report any functional or mechanical problems to the Kitchen Manager.
• You'll monitor the dishwashing machine's water temperature and chemical levels to ensure a sanitary wash cycle.
• You'll perform general cleaning duties, sweeping, mopping, sanitizing, recycling, taking the garbage out, etc.
• You'll do stocking and restocking supplies for servers, bartenders, and kitchen team members.
• You'll perform other related duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager.
