Organization Profile We are a fast-growing tow service company with many locations and a great work environment. The location we are looking to fill a position is at our Mission division. We are seeking a full and part-time dispatcher and call taker. Come join our team, no two shifts are the same!
Position Purpose/ Responsibilities** A dispatcher and/or call taker’s, biggest responsibility is to assist our customers who are in need emergency assistance. Dispatchers must work well under pressure and respond to emergencies quickly and efficiently. As a dispatcher/call taker, you will need to gather all important details about customers and their situations.
Required Skills, Knowledge & Abilities Addition skills a great asset to the position
- Multitask in a face-paced environment
- Minimum keyboarding skills of 35 wpm
- Excellent attention to detail
- Great Memory
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to articulate instruction and job details clearly by phone, verbally and input into computer-based programs
- Quick and eager to learn company programs (training will be provided)
- Able to communicate confidently with police departments, insurance agencies
