We have implemented early dismissal, for students, on Fridays, to give more flexibility in schedules, for colleagues to meet, collaborate, and learn within working hours.

Job Duties: support students in instruction as well as social and behavioral needs

encourage positive interactions between students and staff; work closely and collaboratively with school staff including, but not limited to, classroom teachers and administration; position may include activities such as lifting, transferring, and providing personal care, as necessary; and

position may have involvement in student school activities such as swimming or outdoor sports and may require the EA to participate with students.

Education and Certifications: High School diploma

postsecondary training is an asset
