The salary for this role is 45k-50k Paid weekly!!!

Reporting to the Shop Manager, the Parts and Shop Administrator will manage the inventory process for the Elmira shop, develop and/or maintain processes and systems for repetitive tasks, perform office administration tasks as well as manage the overall organization and cleanliness of the parts room and shop office.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage technician’s requests distributing parts to their workstation
  • Maintain accurate inventory/cycle counting in the Fleet Management system
  • Ensure adequate inventory is on-hand of all stocked items, reordering as needed
  • Manage special order parts ordering & receiving process
  • Sourcing, ordering, receiving, and organizing parts and returns
  • Maintain accurate field details in the Fleet Management system
  • Enter all third-party work orders into the Fleet Management system
  • Historical data entry of physical files into the Fleet Management system
  • Acting as a first point of contact for all vendor inquiries and shop/office deliveries
  • Maintain the stock of the non-part room supplies (pens, paper, water jugs, personal protective equipment) by ordering from our company store
  • Ensure all memos and documents are properly distributed to trucks and employees as needed
  • Run errands as needed to pick-up items from parts suppliers, MTO, office supplies stores, lunch (In company pick-up)
  • Printing and posting daily/weekly department/company updates

Required Experience :

  • Experienced using Excel/Google Sheets, multiple spreadsheets and track data
  • Comfortable with technology and learning new software
  • Experience following outlined processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A valid full G driver's license required
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience working with mínimal supervision
  • Previous exposure to truck and trailer parts is required
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to remain organized and multi-task to meet deadlines.
  • Able to perform light physical effort (e.g. bending, reaching, carrying items, transferring, lifting or pushing items)
  • Must be able to lift up to 35lbs as needed
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift (training provided)
