  • (we told you we were bringing out the best in our people!) - Contribution to the success of a Quebec-based multinational with strong environmental values- Your challenge!- Reporting to the FP&A Financial Director, the analyst's responsibilities will include raw data analysis, reporting, KPI tracking dashboards, follow-up on margin-saving initiatives, as well as active participation in the creation and validation of budgets for all sectors (mills and conversion).- Develop your full potential, sustainably Embrace your true self ! Fulfill yourself by deploying your expertise:
  • Develop your expertise within the FP&A team of our Containerboard Packaging Division, under the supervision of the Senior Financial Director.
  • Perform month-end closing tasks and necessary adjustments. Ensure that monthly results are accurate in collaboration with the various regional stakeholders. Analyze deviations from target, forecasts or past performance.
  • Participate in the development of long-range plan, annual budget and forecast processes. Ensure forecasts are realistic and in line with strategic objectives. Identify risks and opportunities
  • Work closely with the local finance team in various geographical regions. Deploy and coordinate the financial forecasting process while ensuring stakeholder alignment.
  • Analyze business unit financial results and provide explanations to the management team.
  • Participate in the preparation of official documents and reports on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Train and support users;
  • Write and maintain process documentation;

  • 5-10 years' experience in a similar position
  • Mastery of the company's various sectors (finance, accounting, production, sales, etc.);
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Bilingual (French / English);
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • Professional designation; CPA, CMA, CGA an asset
  • Motivated, independent and rigorous
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Advanced Excel skills and ease with PowerPoint presentations
  • In-depth knowledge of Power BI and modeling techniques, including multidimensional modeling a strong asset.
