About the Opportunity Reporting to the Manager, the Vascular Diagnostic Technologist will provide a variety of vascular testing modalities.  The position will involve shift work and on-call services. About You •    Graduate of a recognized Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound Program or equivalent with Vascular Specialty •    Current (or eligible) for registration with NSCMIRTP •    Current credentialed member of Sonography Canada as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) •    Current CPR Certification •    Recent clinical experience in a non-Invasive Vascular Lab is preferred •    Ability to maintain good relationships with patients, families and co-workers •    Ability to work with minimum supervision, on a consultative basis, within the health care team •    Strong sense of initiative and responsibility •    Ability to adapt to flexible workload and stressful situation •    Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred   PLEASE NOTE: Applicants relying on education and experience equivalencies must clearly state such equivalencies in their cover letter, resume, or application.  Additionally, candidates will not be considered for an interview if applications are incomplete or are missing information. Hours Long assignment full-time position; 75 hours biweekly Approximately 15 months Monday to Friday 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm; subject to change as operationally required  Compensation and Benefits $34.40- $41.76 hourly  This position is currently eligible for a Market Adjustment of approximately $239.25 biweekly. Eligibility for a Market Adjustment is reviewed periodically.
