Hydrovac Operator

Responsibilities:

• Operate hydrovac equipment to safely and efficiently excavate underground utilities and pipelines
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the hydrovac truck and equipment
• Safely drive and operate the hydrovac truck to and from job sites
• Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair any equipment issues that arise during operations
• Dig trenches,
• Assist with horizontal drilling operations when necessary
• Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while on job sites
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including daily logs, maintenance reports, and incident reports

Requirements :

• Commercial driving experience with a valid driver's license
• Experience operating hydrovac equipment or similar heavy machinery
• Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team setting

Salary : $22.90-$34.70 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
