Stores Coordinator

Position Summary : The Stores Coordinator is responsible for the inventory control and ordering of parts, materials and business services required.

Responsibilities :

  • Interacting with customers and suppliers daily
  • Distributing and collecting parts and supplies
  • Regularly reviewing inventories and ordering when needed
  • Collecting orders, requisitions, and shipping/receiving documentation as required
  • Tracking and reporting the status of orders and shipments
  • Receiving and reviewing deliveries against invoices
  • Storing items in an organized and accessible manner in shops, tool room and supply room
  • Creating and maintaining reports and databases on an ongoing basis

Qualifications & Experience :

  • Post-secondary education (asset)
  • Knowledgeable of various parts and tools used in a variety of skilled trades
  • Previous experience as parts clerk, shipping and receiving or another related field
