Assistant Retail Store Manager for Pool & Spa Retailer

Responsibilities :

  • Help price, stock, and face merchandise on the sales floor and retail shelves daily, or as required by current stock levels
  • Responsible for overall store and property cleanliness and presentation
  • Assist in purchasing, stocking and maintaining all supplies as needed
  • Assist in any ordering responsibilities as well as all retail product & special customer orders. Ensuring all paperwork and packing slips are matched and sent to accounting at head office
  • Assist in accurate, daily till counts, End of Day reports, Daily Sales Records, Bank Deposits, Safe counts, petty cash management, coin box management
  • Assist all customers on the retail floor and answer any questions. Greet & approach visitors in a professional and friendly manner
  • Plan, prioritize and delegate work tasks to ensure proper functioning of the store
  • Evaluate, provide feedback and manage employee’s performance
  • Maintain schedules and monitor time cards - tracking holidays, sick days and last-minute changes
  • Ensure that all associates are trained in salesmanship, product knowledge and customer service
  • Identify and implement strategies to improve the quality of service, productivity and profitability

Requirements :

  • Determined to learn, expand and maintain knowledge of our products/services
  • Experience working in fast paced environments
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates, including early morning, evening and
  • weekend shifts and hours are necessary.

Salary : $43,000.00 per year
