Elements Casino Grand River is seeking a Full-Time Dual Surveillance Supervisor! Position Summary**

Surveillance Operators are responsible for the daily on-going monitoring and observation of casino operations, while ensuring the security and integrity of the casino assets, staff, and patrons. You will provide routine surveillance of the gaming floor and acting as a support unit to other departments in relation to the protection of company assets. Your attention to detail and sound observation skills will be critical as you are conducting reviews, writing and completing reports and logs that could be used as evidence in legal matters that have resulted from criminal charges against patrons or employees.

When acting as a Surveillance Supervisor, you will be responsible for the supervision of surveillance employees in a shift work environment, fostering a safe and efficient work environment. Your strong presence in the Surveillance Room will be vital to your management of people and interacting with internal customers while delivering exceptional customer service. You will always maintain awareness of the gaming operation, and plan, organize and direct the overall operation the shift by delegating duties, briefing/monitoring of employees, and overseeing occurrences as they develop. You will ensure compliance with Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) regulations and all applicable laws, policies, and procedures. What's in it for you?

  • Rate in the Dual Supervisor position will be $26.00/hour to start
  • Rate in the Surveillance Operator position will be $21.00/hour to start

  • A secondary diploma, with preference to graduates with a Post-Secondary education in Law and Security.
  • A minimum of one (1) or more years of experience in a security related field or gaming related positions, with preference to Supervisory experience of (1) or more years
  • Strong analytical, observational, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Casino Surveillance or related surveillance experience an asset The ability to obtain registration as a category 1 Gaming Assistant (license) with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario
